For anyone who has moved to Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, from Delhi, we do find the nightlife and drinking scene a bit overpriced, with no actual gratification from the ambience, food, or events. It’s not a crowd puller, I must say.
I am a Delhi girl with an appetite for parties and nightlife, and since I moved here, I couldn’t really find a place that could be my regular hangout or a weekend hangout without burning a hole while not even getting the engine warmed up.
So it’s a usual day where I step out and look for a cozy place to read/ write and have a cup of coffee (a beer would be better, no doubt) I chance upon a BYOB in Indirapuram.
This is no usual BYOB, like the ones you see in Delhi and Noida (those are actually ahatas that are unhygienic, sleazy, and dreadful.). I mean one gets a hangover at the sight of these places. But this one is fancy ass, quite like the ones you see in Gurgaon, a bit small though.
Fancy and ambient BYOBs are in these. They are fancy, comfortable, open-aired, female friendly with a decent menu. Food is generally priced higher but the same is the case at any restro bar in the NCR region. The music scene is also palpable.
The two new BYOBs in Indirapuram are trying to change the ahata game in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, and also become gender-inclusive. They charge a cover price to maintain the quality of gentry.
The BYOB concept is great and I am a personal fan as long as it is safe and a delightful experience, though expectations should be managed.
